I began working with glass after serious illness and a long hospital stay.
Always having been fascinated by glass art and artefacts, early retirement enabled me to pursue this interest by taking lessons in leaded stained glass, copper-foil (‘Tiffany’) technique, and glass fusing.
Now, with guidance from several established glass artists, I am experimenting with a variety of techniques and effects, particularly in making a range of unique fused glass items.
Glass as a material has limitations, but also the potential to be fashioned and used in various ways.
In life too, despite often being limited by our individual circumstances, we all have an innate God-given gift of creativity which enriches our own and others’ lives.
I hope you enjoy looking at the items I’ve been creating, some of which are displayed on the ‘Gallery’ page. Items available for purchase may be found on the ‘Shop’ page.
I take commissions, so if you would like something similar to what you see, but in a different shape/colour/design (or even have an idea for something completely different!) please contact me to discuss.
